Former NHS emergency medicine paediatric consultant and award-winning storytelling facilitator Dr Lalith Wijedoru was in attendance to share how he uses the true, personal stories of employees, leaders, and managers at every stage of the employee life cycle.
He walked you through some case studies of using stories to attract new talent, bring to life learning and development, to personalise reward and recognition, and inform organisations about retention when it comes to employees exiting.
How HR practices can boost positive social mobility
Queen Mary London has recently published research on the impact of social mobility on job outcomes. This session gave you a summary of this research as well as helping you understand the role good HR practices that can help improve job outcomes of those who come from a disadvantaged background.
